Applications are being received for Douglas College scholarships for international students. Douglas College offers nearly $100,000 in entrance scholarships each year to new international students who have performed well in their previous academic studies. There are entrance scholarships for new students enrolling in the fall, winter, and summer semesters, and scholarships for students who are currently pursuing their studies at Douglas College.
The scholarship is open to international undergraduate students who are currently studying or will be enrolling in a program at the university. The scholarship will provide up to 7,000 CAD. This an excellent opportunity for international students who dream of studying in Canada.

Outgoing International Mobility Scholarship for Continuing Education Students: International and domestic continuing education students may apply for additional funding to facilitate their participation in an approved international mobility program.

Athletic Scholarship: The purpose of the fund is to cover the difference between the tuition fees of international and domestic students. Up to 5 eligible recipients will be selected each academic year to receive up to $7,000 towards their tuition.

Douglas College Scholarship Eligibility for International Students
To apply for these scholarships in Canada, applicants must meet the following criteria.
Douglas International Education Regional Entrance Scholarship
Available to students from CIS countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan), Europe, Latin America, Middle East, Africa, East Asia, South East Asia and South Asia (Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal).
To be eligible, students must have applied to Douglas College by the official application deadline for the semester listed below.
Successful applicants typically have an above-average GPA (B equivalent or higher) and strong English proficiency test scores (i.e. IELTS 7.0 and above, or equivalent).

Dr. Guangwei Ouyang International Education Entrance Scholarship
To be considered, students must have previously applied to Douglas College.
Students are selected on the basis of their past academic performance and commitment to their school, community, and/or personal development.
Students from all countries are eligible for these scholarships.

Douglas College International Returning Student Scholarship
Be an international student enrolled at Douglas College
Be enrolled in a minimum of nine (9) credits in any academic program or faculty
Have completed at least 21 credits at Douglas College with a minimum grade point average of 3.75

Students may receive this scholarship a maximum of two times during their studies at Douglas College:
Once they have completed a minimum of 21 credit hours and less than 42 credit hours after the student has completed a minimum of 42 credits.

Global Citizenship Dean’s Awards
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better at the time of application Must have completed 21 or more credits at Douglas College
Must not have received the award previously
Students must demonstrate an outstanding commitment or contribution to the community
Students must demonstrate a connection between their studies and global citizenship. For example, the pursuit of global skills through study and experiences (e.g., GCC-eligible courses, study abroad, the pursuit of WIL or cross-cultural experiences)
